If you have experience providing technical expertise for existing, modified, and new Line Replaceable Units, hardware and software design and integration for air vehicle systems and subsystems, and you enjoy travel for program reviews and/or site visits, then this role is for you!Here you will work on analysis, strategic planning, design, development, integration, test, production, deployment, sustainment, and modernization activities necessary to achieve U.S. and FMS aircraft weapon system and subsystem requirements. Traditional and non-traditional acquisitions (Section 804 Rapid Fielding)Provide technical expertise for existing, modified, and new Line Replaceable Units (LRUs), hardware and software design and integration for air vehicle systems and subsystems.Lead tasks in support of all engineering aspects of the program, delivery, training, operations, maintenance, infrastructure, sustainment, and support.Apply extensive knowledge of aircraft systems and other aircraft operations expertise to assess developmental alternative and flight test activities.Prepare/deliver/participate in programmatic, engineering, T&E briefings, planning efforts, execution, documentation activities, conferences, and reviews.Perform engineering review and analysis of weapon system contractor proposals and other technical documentation in support of the USAF or partner country program’s airframe, systems, and sub-system contract definitization, ECPs, or similar and provide recommendations back to our customer.Attend/participate in various program, management-level, and team-level meetings as required, both in-person and via telecom in support.Ability to travel regularly (~10-25%) for program reviews and/or site visits, to contractor, test range, laboratory, or customer locations as directed/required.An Active Secret or TS/SCI Clearance is Required for this position, for which, you must be a U.S. CitizenKnowledge of avionics engineering in support of avionics subsystem definition, development, integration, and testing.Knowledge of requirements development and verification methods to include review of ICD, sustainment, Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), T&E, and airworthiness certification across a wide range of hardware and software systems.Familiarity in wide/varied fighter/bomber platforms and systems as a pilot, weapons system operator, or maintainer in an operational or test environment.Experience with:Certification of systems for AIMS and RF Spectrum (DD 1494).Communications, navigation, and identification (CNI) systems.Specific experience with Tactical Data Links (Link-16, MIDS-JTRS, TTNT).(Master of Arts (MA)/Master of Science (MS)) and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 5 years of which must be in the DoD20 years of directly related experience with proper certifications, 8 of which must be in the DoD#LI-AH1the Aerospace and Engineering Group (AEG) is the prime contractor to the U.S. Space Force, providing Systems Engineering & Integration of the Launch Safety infrastructure, the Satellite Control Network, and the Standard Space Trainer.**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***., Inc. and its wholly owned U.S. subsidiaries are equal opportunity/affirmative action employers, committed to diversity in the workplace.
